Capodimonte Last Supper Restoration
This rare Capodimonte "Last Supper" centerpiece required intricate restoration work, specifically focused on the base. The damage included a badly chipped corner that necessitated complete reconstruction by the specialised restoration team.
In addition to the main structural repair, various other areas around the perimeter of the base also required careful attention and stabilization. Once the reconstruction was complete, the crucial final step involved meticulously matching and reapplying the original gilding to ensure a seamless, museum-quality finish across all repaired sections.
