Royal Worcester Porcelain Card Holder Restoration
Royal Worcester china is notably fragile, which means we frequently see it for restoration. This fruit-design cardholder is a classic example, typical of the many pieces designed by various artists for Royal Worcester in the 1920s and 1930s.
Fortunately, this piece required a straightforward repair to a clean break at the stem. The two sections were seamlessly rejoined and filled, followed by precise painting and glazing to complete the restoration.
