Tower of London Poppy Restoration
We recently restored a Tower of London Poppy by Paul Cummins, a piece of immense sentimental and historical value commemorating the centenary of World War I (representing one of the 888,246 lives lost).
This particular poppy arrived with a snapped-off lower petal, a result of being knocked from a shelf. Because these ceramics are so delicate, we often receive them for repair. The restoration process involved expertly gluing the petal back into place, filling any small chips with epoxy filler, and then meticulously hand-painting the repaired area to seamlessly match the original poppy red.

Doulton Terrier Restoration
"Just a quick note to say a mighty THANK YOU for the restoration work to my Terrier’s ear which you have so skilfully rebuilt. The quality of work, colour and glaze matching is superb and I am extremely impressed. You have also exceeded the estimated turn-around time by a substantial margin and the overall cost involved has been worth every penny. Please ensure that these comments are relayed to everyone involved. Thank you once more and I will most certainly call on your services again should a future occurrence materialise."
